By downloading, installing, or using Reckly (the "App"), an iOS and iPadOS application published by Sylvain Lafrance (the "Developer", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You may use the App if you are at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required by your country to use Apple services without parental consent. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, we grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control.
The App offers an optional one-time non-consumable purchase ("Reckly Pro"). All purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's billing terms. Pricing is shown in your local currency at the point of purchase. Pro features currently include unlimited hints and access to all color themes. Restoration is supported via the "Restore Purchases" button — your purchase is tied to your Apple Account and restores for free on any device you own. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We may add, change, or remove features that are gated behind Pro at our discretion. We will not retroactively revoke a Pro entitlement you have already purchased.
You agree not to: reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App (except where applicable law expressly permits it); use the App to violate any law, infringe any third party's rights, or interfere with the App's intended operation; bypass, disable, or attempt to circumvent any in-app purchase, entitlement, or rate-limit mechanism.
The App does not host or collect user-generated content. Your progress, stats, and settings are stored locally on your device and synchronized between your own Apple devices using Apple's iCloud Key-Value Storage. We never see, transmit, or store this data on our own servers.
The App can schedule a local notification at a time you choose, as a daily reminder. Notifications are configured entirely on your device and can be disabled at any time from Settings → Notifications → Reckly.
We may release updates that modify, add, or remove features. Updates are delivered through the App Store and may be installed automatically depending on your device settings.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the App. Our total cumulative liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App (including any in-app purchase) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You acknowledge that these Terms are between you and the Developer only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if any). Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms and has the right to enforce them against you.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted in a release note or in-app notice. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
