Common questions
Is Search-It really free?
Yes. You can use Search-It for free with no time limit. An optional one-time unlock removes the free-tier category limit and supports continued development.
Will Search-It work with my favorite website?
If the site has a search box that uses a standard URL pattern (most do), yes. Tap Fetch and Search-It will figure it out automatically. For unusual sites, you can paste a search-results URL and tap the search term to mark it.
Does Search-It see my searches?
No. Search-It never sees what you search for. Queries are sent directly from your phone to the websites you've added — the same as if you typed them into Safari.
Can I share a website I'm on?
Yes — Safari → Share → Search-It → pick a category. The URL is saved instantly and appears in your category list the next time you open the app.
I unlocked Search-It previously. Do I need to pay again?
No. Your unlock is intact and applies to the new version too. Tap Restore Purchases in Settings if it doesn't show as unlocked.
How do I manage my purchase?
Open Settings → tap your Apple ID at the top → Subscriptions to review anything tied to your account. The unlock itself is handled through your Apple ID.
